Lycabettus, with 277 meters of altitude, is the higher hill of Athens. It is a good idea to arrive to the top with a walk, or in alternative to use the funicular. There are several paths to climb and everyone is good to explore the hill itself and/or enjoy different kinds of views of Athens area. Specifically the bell tower is related to the close Saint George church.
Funicular and cable car are an interestig transport system to me, so if possible i try them, as in Genoa to reach Righi.
